Do I need experience to go scuba diving in Fujairah?
No experience is needed. Our Discover Scuba Diving program lets complete beginners breathe underwater with a PADI instructor beside them. If you want to become certified, the PADI Open Water course starts you from zero.
What is the best time of year for diving in Fujairah?
Fujairah offers year-round diving thanks to warm Gulf of Oman waters. Temperatures range from about 22C in winter to 32C in summer, with the best visibility usually between October and May.
What marine life will I see?
Fujairah's reefs are home to green sea turtles, blacktip reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, clownfish, seahorses, nudibranchs and colourful coral, especially at Dibba Rock and Snoopy Island.
How much does scuba diving in Fujairah cost?
Snorkeling trips start from AED 150, a Discover Scuba session from AED 350, two-tank boat dives from AED 450, and the full PADI Open Water course from AED 1,750, all with equipment included.
How far is Fujairah from Dubai?
Fujairah's East Coast dive sites are roughly a 90 minute to 2 hour drive from Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, an easy day trip for diving and snorkeling.

You can try Discover Scuba Diving from age 10, and the PADI Junior Open Water course is available for ages 10 to 14. Snorkeling trips are suitable for all ages with supervision.
